The sky’s the limit in the Wings For Life F1 Challenge
If there was ever a chance to live out your dream as a Formula One ace, then here is a lifeline to making it a reality, courtesy of Wings For Life. The spinal cord injury charity, that was set up both by Heinz Kinigadner and Red Bull CEO, Dietrich Mateschitz in 2004, with 100% of the proceeds raised going towards the fight to make spinal cord injury curable, has come up with a very novel way to motivate companies to form teams in an exciting, fulfilling and incredibly rewarding challenge unlike any other. So without further ado, here’s a bit more information about the Wings For Life Formula One Challenge…
Between July and October, the battle lines will be drawn, with eager participants waiting for the lights to go out, as all will strive to raise the most money possible for a charity that has done and continues to do great work in the field of world-class research to help those affected by spinal cord injury regain a better quality of life by new developments and discoveries.
Those deciding to take up this once in a lifetime challenge, will be invited to attend a special launch evening, where Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s Team Principal, Christian Horner, will be on hand to talk to the teams about what constitutes the best recipe for creating a winning team.
Just after the halfway point of the challenge will be a milestone in itself, as the top three teams that have raised the most money at that point will receive an Infiniti Red Bull Racing static car at their place of work.
But whoever ends up at the top of the podium when all is said and done after four hard months of fundraising gets a Formula One experience, as those lucky participants will be able to take their place behind the wheel of the Infiniti Red Bull Racing simulator, and get top-level guidance from one of the team’s experts. To make the experience that little more memorable, their ‘trophy’ will be an iconic piece of Infiniti Red Bull Racing memorabilia, which will have been worn, signed and framed, to take true pride of place.
But if YOUR team raises over £15,000, then the bar gets raised even further, as four places will be secured in a day trip that takes those lucky few on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Infiniti Red Bull Racing factory in Milton Keynes itself, where a champagne buffet lunch awaits, along with Christian heading a Q&A session, where he will test the teams as to whether the tips he gave were put into practice.
So, if you want to work hard to earn your “Wings” through this challenge, and sign up or find out more, please email email@example.com, and as a great addition to raising monies for the charity, all company-matched donations are allowed as part of the terms and conditions.
So, to attend the launch talk, at least £1000 must have already been donated, with a minimum of £5000 guaranteeing the static car reward. With the sky being the limit, anything’s possible…
