Hamilton to join Mercedes celebrations at Goodwood Festival of Speed
Lewis Hamilton will return to the Goodwood Festival of Speed later this month as Mercedes celebrates 100 years of grand prix racing.
Hamilton, a regular at the annual event, will drive a contemporary Mercedes Formula One car up the hill on the final day of the festival, Sunday 29 June.
The 2008 champion will join a list of five other F1 champions at the event, ranging from Sir Jackie Stewart, John Surtees and Emerson Fittapaldi, to Jenson Button and Kimi Raikkonen, the Finn in attendance for the first time.
Sir Stirling Moss and recently retired Indycar legend Dario Franchitti will also be in attendance alongside a host of Mercedes associated drivers who will demonstrate some of the most famous cars from the German marques racing history.
