Hamilton and Rosberg “still friends” after talks
The Brit was unhappy on Saturday after he missed out on pole position to Rosberg, following the German’s controversial Q3 mistake at Mirabeau that brought out the yellow flags.
His disappointment continued on Sunday, after he finished in second place and behind his team-mate in the race. Talking to media afterwards, Hamilton claimed the two were colleagues and not friends, although Rosberg said the opposite.
Five days after the sixth round of the 2014 season, the 29-year-old shared a picture of the two in their karting days with the caption: “We’ve been friends for a long time, and as friends we have our ups and downs. Today we spoke and we’re cool, still friends.”
