It was announced earlier today that Gene Haas’ proposed F1 outfit has been granted entry to the sport for 2015. Now, the FIA has revealed that a team called Forza Rossa is also being considered.

Bernie Ecclestone hinted over the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend that another team could join the grid alongside Haas’ entry next year.

Meanwhile the FIA confirmed that a study to increase the noise of the new V6 Turbo power-units is under way, with “preliminary results expected shortly.”

Finally, a meeting organised by FIA president Jean Todt, Ecclestone and all of the F1 teams will take place on May 1st to discuss reducing costs.

It will be followed by a F1 Strategy Group meeting “to clarify the means to achieve a substantial F1 Team cost reduction.”
