Toro Rosso announce STR9 launch date
The STR9 will be unveiled to media on January 27th at the Jerez circuit, the day before winter testing gets underway at the Spanish circuit.
The launch will take place at 5.30pm local time (4.30pm UK time). Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniil Kvyat will drive for the team this year, with the latter replacing Red Bull-bound Daniel Ricciardo.
Mercedes, Caterham and Red Bull Racing will also unveil their 2014 machinery at the Jerez track, but on the following day.
McLaren kick off the launches on January 24th, with Ferrari then uncovering their new car on the following day. Sauber’s C33 will be revealed on January 26th, with all three being shown online.
Four days of winter testing will take place at Jerez. Toro Rosso will get their first taste of Renault power at the test, after switching from Ferrari engines for this season.
