Following the confirmation that Daniel Ricciardo will be joining Red Bull Racing in 2014 earlier this evening, the team has released a video in which the Australian driver talks about the move, his hopes and aspirations with the defending world champions.
Ricciardo made his debut in 2011 for HRT before joining Toro Rosso at the beginning of 2012. Despite failing to score any major results in his career so far, Ricciardo has proven himself as being a fast qualifier and a driver with plenty of potential. Therefore, the move to Red Bull makes sense for all parties, especially with Toro Rosso existing in order to nurture young drivers. Ricciardo follows in the footsteps of new teammate Sebastian Vettel by graduating from Toro Rosso to Red Bull, with Antonio Felix da Costa widely expected to join Jean-Eric Vergne at Red Bull
